I joined You Spot Property as an in house accountant in 2016 with the aim to bring the accounts and payroll function in-house. Soon after joining my role expanded and I have experienced almost all areas of the company. I get great enjoyment from the fact that my role is varied, one day I could be preparing management accounts, the next putting up mirrors and building cupboards, I have also expanded my computing knowledge by taking on the maintenance and enhancement of the functionality of the database. I am always willing to try to help out where I can and maybe this is where my title of the “office mum” has come from (I’d like to think its not purely my age). Outside of the office, I am a mum to two teenagers and a rescue dog, in my free time I take the dog on long walks.
